Candidate User Guide

Registration / Login

•  Type http://ril.com/ on your internet browser

•  Hover mouse on “Careers” button

•  Click “Apply Online” on the same page

•  Click “Opportunities in Retail”

•  Click “Register now” and note your User ID and password for future use

•  If you have already registered before, click “Login” and use your User ID & password

 

Candidate Profile  

•  Click “Candidate Profile”.

•  Fill up data in the following 8 Mandatory tabs to complete your application.

•  Personal Data

•  Communication Data

•  Education

•  Work Experience

•  Family Details

•  Medical Details

•  Application Relevant Info

•  Qualifications (Languages known)

•  Following tabs are optional

•  Attachments

•  Desired Job

•  Desired Work Location

•  Click “Profile Release” tab,

•  Select “Release Profile” and click “Save”.

•  Your profile will be visible to Reliance Retail Recruiters.

•  If you want to release your profile at a later stage, please Select “Lock Profile” and click “Save”.

 

Search for suitable Job openings in Reliance

•  Click “Apply Directly” OR click “Job Search”.

•  Click “Start Search” to see all the Jobs posted on Reliance Retail site.

•  If you want to filter your job search, use Full Text search or specific search criteria like Location, Contract Type, Hierarchy level, Country and click “Start Search”.

•  Select the Job in which you are interested and click “Apply / Display Application”.

 

Apply Directly : Application Wizard / Personal Data for application  

•  If you click “Apply Directly” or “Job Search”, click “Apply / Display Application”.

•  Application wizard guides you through the Data to be filled.

•  Fill up data in the following 8 Mandatory tabs to complete your application..

•  Cover letter

•  Click “Send Application” tab to enable Reliance Retail Recruiters to process your candidature.

•  View or delete your Applications through “Applications” link on your Dashboard ( First page after Logon ).

 

Data Overview form: Verify your Data

•  Click “Data Overview” to view Data entered by you in Reliance Application format. This will ensure that correct Data is used in your selection process.

•  You can print and carry the “Data Overview” form when you appear for an Interview at Reliance Retail.

 

Control Access of your Data to Reliance Recruiters

Your Profile is not accessible to the Reliance Recruiters until:

•  Click “Profile Release” tab, select “Release Profile” and “Save” when you use the “Candidate Profile” link

OR

•  Click “Send Application” tab and “Submit” when you use the “Apply Directly” or “Job Search” link

 

Additional services for Candidates

•  Lock your Profile

You can lock your Profile (no Reliance Recruiter will be able to see your Profile) if you click the “Profile Release” tab and select “Lock Profile” and click “Save” using the “Candidate Profile” link

•  Change Password

You can change your password by keying in your User ID and Password and clicking the “Change Password” link on the Logon window. It will prompt you to enter the current password and new password twice. Then click “Change” to change the password.

•  Password forgotten

If you forget your password, just click “Password forgotten” link on the logon window and enter your User name and/or email ID. Your Password will be sent on the email ID stored in your Communication Data or the email ID entered by you on this screen

•  Change User Name

You can change your User name by clicking the “Change User name” link on your Dashboard (first page on Logon).

•  Delete Registration

You can delete your registration on our site. Note, however, that all your data will be lost. If you re-register, you will have to enter all your data again. Therefore, consider whether it would be more advisable to leave the data in the system and to simply lock your profile.

•  Personal Settings

You can change your Date format, Decimal Notations, Display format for Data Overview (HTML / PDF) using the Personal Settings link on your Dashboard (first page on Logon)
