" To develop and install procedures to assure the conversion and adherence of Quality & Legal requirements and internal guidelines To Assure Safety and Quality of the fresh products and our own brands to the customer. Involvement in Infrastructure projects to suit quality requirements Develop Specifications, conduct Supplier Audits and Product Testing for fresh and our own brand articles Expertise in implementing and training personnel on Quality Management Systems, Meat, Fish and Fruits and Vegetable as core departments Support Store Ops team in providing technical inputs, guidelines, training materials, customer complaint handling and help implement system to ensure business compliance Daily Floor Walk – Activity, Reporting & Follow up – Daily observation on quality of our products on shelf, Expiry checks, hygiene, temperature monitoring, maintenance issues, customer management, pest control Awareness & Refresher Training on Personal Hygiene, SCS & HACCP: Store employees are trained on Personal Hygiene, Self-Control System (SCS) & HACCP on a regular basis. Implementation of SCS & HACCP to DC’s Customer Complaint Monitoring and Follow-up All complaints are monitored. Food and Own brand complaints are tracked & follow-up action taken Hygiene Inspection – Activity, Reporting and Follow-up- Inspection is carried out every fortnight in the Fresh Food areas to monitor implementation of hygiene practices and deviations documented and communicated to all concerned for necessary action Benchmarking & Regional Own Brand (OB) Audits : Support Operations & Buying in Benchmarking activities as per the schedule. Support to OB through conducting regional vendor audits, reporting and follow-up"
